HydroPower - Contract and Claims Consultancy
The Tarbela 4th Extension HydroPower Project is a monumental undertaking in hydroelectric power development. It encompasses a significant expansion of the existing Tarbela Dam, which spans 2,743 meters and stands 143 meters high. This project adds substantial capacity to one of the world's largest earth and rock-filled dams, with a reservoir extending 97 km and an area of 260 km². Key components include construction of a new power house, modification to Tunnel 4 for housing power units, and enhancements to existing infrastructure for improved water intake and sediment flushing.
